Our residential inspections include roofing, plumbing, electrical, HV/AC systems, walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, attics, basement, garage, porches, decks, bathroom, kitchen, fireplace, crawlspace, ventilation, stairs, steps, landings, rails, balconies, sidewalks, driveways and ground grading.
A full residential inspection requires that the home inspector inspect every section of the home carefully and with his knowledge make his observation and report on any defects and findings that stick out for a possible red flag on a safety issue or a faulty mechanical component in the house. We also observe if there is any settlement or shifting in the house main structural components. A full report on the visual findings is givin to the client.
We use thermal imaging for the absence or lack of insulation which will indicate cold spots behind the walls and/or ceilings, doors and windows.
While most homes have nice and clean construction that makes you think there is nothing wrong with the home, there is never a perfect home. Most homes have a short or long list of deficiencies that need to be addressed. With that being said an inspection is crucial and a very important part of a home sale transaction. Avoid costly repairs and get a home inspection. You will definitely be glad you did.
